Hi again everyone,
Tomorrow I am beginning my journey to ‘a rocking fit body, mind and spirit’. I bought myself a Daily Greatness Training Journal which claims it will help me better myself in all these areas in twelve weeks. I’m so excited to begin my journey and will be taking the time today to read my journal and fill out the beautiful pages in the front of the book.
I purchased this journal because I have felt seriously unfit since having baby Jessica and really needed some motivation. I haven’t just felt unfit physically, but also mentally. It’s easy to get into some naughty little habits when you’re at home with bubs all day and I’ve really been getting comfortable!
Before pregnancy I was a 5k runner and enjoyed eating healthily. I had very bad sickness all throughout my pregnancy so went off a lot of foods. To be honest all I could cope with were wonderful carbs like bread and potatoes!
As part of my mission to get fit and healthy I will be taking up running again and using a Couch to 5k app to help me. This is what I did before and I really enjoyed using one. I love the use of technology to help keep me motivated. The various apps I have on my phone along with my FitBit, Garmin watch and training journal should definitely be enough to keep me happy!
I will be posting weekly about my journey, using this blog as a kind of open diary. I’d love for you to share any tips, advice and questions you may have about your own positive lifestyle changes and my own. I will also be sharing healthy recipes, which I’m really excited about! Trust me, I’m not a great cook, but if I can put together these recipes, then anyone can!
